CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  – Kate Uitti (Pinckney, Mich.), a sophomore tri-captain on the University of New Hampshire volleyball team, was named America East Setter of the Week on Monday. Uitti has now earned this accolade in two of the first three weeks of the young season.
   Uitti was named to the All-Tournament Team at the UNH Tournament by helping the Wildcats to a weekend sweep of Holy Cross, Syracuse and SMU.
   The sophomore setter had 157 assists (14.27 apg) over the three matches. Her weekend was highlighted by a career-best 78-assist performance in a 3-2 win over Syracuse. Uitti also set the table with 34 and 45 assists, respectively, in wins over Holy Cross and SMU. She has 483 assists on the season.
   Uitti leads the conference in assists per game averaging 11.78.
   UNH return on Tuesday when they travel to play Harvard at 7 p.m. The Wildcats return home on Tuesday, Sep. 25 for the final non-conference game of the season against Dartmouth. Game time at Lundholm Gymnasium is 7 p.m. The match will be video streamed live on UNHwildcats.TV.
