BOSTON  -- Senior outside hitter Emmy Blouin (St. Albert, Alberta) and sophomore setter Kate Uitti (Pinckney, Mich.) of the University of New Hampshire volleyball team were selected to the BC/NU Challenge All-Tournament Team as announced Tuesday.

Blouin played in three of the four tourney matches and recorded 49 kills (4.45 per game) on a .234 hitting percentage. She attained a personal milestone with her 1,000th career kill, which came on her fifth kill in Game 1 of UNH’s 3-0 victory against College of the Holy Cross on Sept. 1. Blouin, the fifth Wildcat to reach that milestone, also contributed totals of 28 digs, four blocks, four service aces and three assists in the matches against Boston College, Northeastern and HC.

Uitti was the primary setter in the four matches, which also included a 3-0 win against Sacred Heart. She tallied a total of 151 assists, including a high of 48 at Boston College, to average 11.62 in 13 games played. Uitti also contributed 30 digs, six blocks, three service aces and nine kills.

New Hampshire returns to action Sept. 7-8 at the University of Maryland Tournament; the Wildcats open that tourney Friday (5 p.m.) against Temple University.
