2008 ~ Laquerre capped off a solid freshman
campaign with a place on the America East Conference All-Rookie
team… She played in 79 games and 25 matches, including 17
match starts for the Wildcats… She compiled 41 digs and 28
blocks… She ranked fourth on the team in kills with 169 and
third in kills per game average with 2.14… She reached
double-figures in kills six times during the 2008 season, including
a career-high 20 kills in a 3-2 win over rival Maine on Oct.
16… Laquerre was named to the America East Academic Honor
Roll with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Before UNH
~ Laquerre, a 5-9 outside hitter, played for Doug
Oxford at Concord High School... In 54 games for the Tide in 2007,
she posted 346 kills and 187 digs with 61 blocks and 40 aces...
During her senior season, Laquerre was named the NHIAA Division I
Player of the Year, Gatorade Player of the Year and earned that
same accolade from the Concord Monitor and Nashua
Telegraph.
