FOGARTY NAMED AMERICA EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Lindsay
Fogarty (Pleasanton, Calif.) of the University of New
Hampshire volleyball team was named America East Player of the Week
on Monday.
In two must-win matches for the Wildcats, Fogarty averaged 4.50
kills per set, and tallied five service aces and three blocks. She
led the league last week with 5.31 points per set, while also
leading her team to two wins and the two seed in the upcoming
America East Championship. Fogarty recorded a career-high 26 kills
in Saturday's come-from-behind 3-2 win over Stony Brook and
registered 10 kills in a sweep of UMBC at Senior Day on Sunday. The
senior outside hitter hit at a .376 clip with just four attack
errors in eight sets, while also adding seven digs. This is
Fogarty's second Player of the Week award this season.
Second-seeded UNH returns to action on Friday, Nov. 20 in the
America East Championship semifinals against third-seeded
Binghamton at 3 p.m. on the campus of top-seeded Albany. Log onto
