FOGARTY NAMED AMERICA EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Lindsay Fogarty (Pleasanton, Calif.) of the University of New Hampshire volleyball team was named America East Player of the Week on Monday.

In two must-win matches for the Wildcats, Fogarty averaged 4.50 kills per set, and tallied five service aces and three blocks. She led the league last week with 5.31 points per set, while also leading her team to two wins and the two seed in the upcoming America East Championship. Fogarty recorded a career-high 26 kills in Saturday's come-from-behind 3-2 win over Stony Brook and registered 10 kills in a sweep of UMBC at Senior Day on Sunday. The senior outside hitter hit at a .376 clip with just four attack errors in eight sets, while also adding seven digs. This is Fogarty's second Player of the Week award this season.

Second-seeded UNH returns to action on Friday, Nov. 20 in the America East Championship semifinals against third-seeded Binghamton at 3 p.m. on the campus of top-seeded Albany. Log onto www.UNHWildcats.com or www.AmericaEast.com for more details including times, ticket information and more.
