Volleyball Competes at URI Spring Tournament

DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team competed in spring tournament play on Saturday at the University of Rhode Island. The Wildcats played UConn, URI, CCSU, and Team New England (a professional team out of New England - Professional Volleyball League (PVL)).

Morgan Thatcher (Brockton, Mass.) led the way offensively with 18 kills, a .286 hitting percentage and six blocks for 25 points. Defensively, Sam Henke (Millersville, Md.) tallied 34 digs and posted a 2.7 serve to receive ratio. Taylor Dunklau (Mukowongo, Wis.) paced the offensive attack with 53 assists and added 17 digs. Destiny Tolliver (Rochester, Mich.) recorded 13 kills and six blocks for 19 points.
