Oct 2, 2009 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES 19TH AT PAUL SHORT RUNLEHIGH, Pa. - Junior Sydney Fitzpatrick (Billerica, Mass.) finished 23rd overall to lead the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team to a 19th-place finish at the 40-team Brooks Paul Short Run on Friday at Lehigh University. The Wildcats finished with 529 points, while West Virginia University won the meet with 105 points. Fitzpatrick finished in a time of 20 minutes, 59 seconds. Junior Allison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) finished 107th in the 362-runner field, crossing the finish line at 22:01. Senior Courtney Hamer (Andover, Mass.) was just behind in 110th in a time of 22:04. Sophomore Elizabeth Campbell (Colonia, N.J.) placed 129th, completing the course in 22:14. Junior Erica Jesseman (Scarborough, Maine) rounded out the UNH scorers by finishing 160th in a time of 22:29. The Wildcats return to action
