UNH WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 11TH AT NCAA NORTHEAST REGIONAL
BOSTON – Sophomore Elizabeth Campbell (Colonia, N.J.) placed 36th overall to lead the University of New Hampshire women’s cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the 35-team NCAA Northeast Regional on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.
The Wildcats finished with 390 points, while Syracuse University won the meet with 55 points.
Campbell ran the six-kilometer course in a time of 23 minutes, 20 seconds.
Junior Allison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) finished 61st in the 243-runner field in a time of 23:49.
Sophomore Keely Maguire (Georgetown, Mass.) and junior Jennifer Racine (Haverhill, Mass.) placed 93rd and 98th, respectively, in times of 24:19 and 24:24. Senior Courtney Hamer (Andover, Mass.) rounded out the Wildcat scorers with a 102nd-place finish in 24:29.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Nov. 21 at the ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y.
